well this is embarrassing

This is actually last week's t5w but I was super busy and just didn't have the time to do this for some reason?? Excuses, excuses.

It's also like 80+ something degrees right now and I have no ac. I literally have three fans blasting on me right now that are making my eyes dry and blurry (which can't be a good thing) and they're doing nothing.NOTHING.

Gosh, I really don't like the summer. It literally went from winter to summer where I live...

Okay anyway moving on.

If you didn't know T5W was created bygingerreadslainey and every Wednesday there's a topic in which we choose our top 5 to it. If you want to join, check out the discussion page!

Let's be real here—I want just about every single book/series that I read to become a t.v show just to see what the scenery is "supposed" to look like because I'm not very creative and have a hard time imaging a lot of things, but then tv shows are known to change things and suck just as much as the movie...

I would only want these books into tv shows IF THEY STICK TO THE ACTUAL PLOT OF THE BOOK AND NOT CHANGE ANYTHING

1) Harry Potter by JK Rowling
Making a tv show out of this series would be a bit difficult because of the time span, BUT the movies weren't even that good compared to the books and so much stuff could be added to the show that the movies didn't include. I just want more. (Fun fact everyone, last year I went to Florida like i do every year and we actually went before diagon alley opened and that was the whole reason i actually wanted to be there and not see family but they did a soft opening thingy when we went to universal and i cried when i saw it. yep. i was one of those people.)

2) Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan
Because the movies suck and a tv show could do this series visually justice. I love the series and i think a tv show out of this would be awesome. They could keep the same actors and what not. they just need to stick to the actual plot and not change everything like they did with the movies.

3) The Covenant series by Jennifer L. Armentrout

This would make the perfect cw show...but I don't watch cw shows (or tv really haha) but this would be perfect. There's the main character who is a girl...who kicks ass..and has two guys that are kind of in love with her. The whole series centers around Alex and a majority of it is her relationships with Aiden and Seth. It just screams the CW. but I also really love this series and would kill for a tv show of this (btw can I play Alex if that ever happens I mean we're both short and have the same name!). I also would like to see who would get cast as Adien and Seth.

4) Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien
I want more of the movies and I loved them so much so why not just as amazing tv show? (I've never actually read the books—okay that's a lie. I did read half of the first one and got really annoyed by all the elvish that wasn't translated. If anyone knows how I can actually learn all the elvish used or if there's translations of the elvish somewhere please let me know!!)

5) Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
Again, another great series with a crappy movie. This is another series that would be a great CW tv show and I think that if they were to stick with the actual point of the series and not jump around like the damn movie did) i think it would make a successful tv show.

I think this list could go on and on (because can you imagine a Throne of Glass tv series?? because i can). Typically when I hear that books are being turned into movies/t.v shows, half of me is kind of excited but then the other half is like "How are they going to screw up this up?" That was actually my first thought when I heard about the Shadowhunter's tv show. (Still mad I never auditioned for Clary because I found out AFTER.)
