Wow. What a catchy title amirite? (I kid. That is one horrible title. Just goes to show how creative I am.) Anyway. I'm Lex and while I might not be that great with words, I read a lot and I have a lot of opinions about the books I read. I'm not the best book reviewer but over time I will get better and learn more. Enjoy:)
THIS WAS SO GOOD. I loved it so much this was an amazing conclusion to an amazing series. Though I'm sad that it's over.
I cried at the end it was so good.
I'm a little peeved there was no epilogue. what was the point of mentioning cinder still has her ovaries if her and Kai weren't going to have kids. Can you imagine Scarlet and Wolf having kids though, how cute.
Anyway, everyone needs to read this series if they haven't
So I chose winter because even though I waited three years for oblivion I'm just not ready to finish the Nevermore series just yet
Serious question.
I love both series so much (Nevermore being my #1 trilogy of all time) and the last book of the lunar chronicles just came in the mail. I don't want either one to end. I hate the last book in series
I do not get the romance in this book at all. Yeah in reality you can sleep/kiss whoever you want but I feel like in terms of it in this book, there isn't enough written for these two characters to be in love or at least her to be in "love" with one character but also have a a connection to the other dude and to sleep with him. They both love her but there was nothing written as the build up in my opinion.
(Not a review.)
I loved this book. I love this series. It kills me in such a good way. The writing is amazing and for a ya book the romance takes a backseat but backseated done right. The fictional world is amazing. It's kind of like a nightmare on elm street but not. I can't get enough of this series.
I'm liking this so far! Though I wish there was more written for the romance because I understand it but there wasn't enough for me to believe it. (I have a really hard time explaining my thoughts, you'll have to excuse me.) I get her and one character to a point because they once knew each other (but they don't really now so how can you have feelings for someone 6 years later...?) but her and the other character I'm eeeehhh about
(Not an actual review, just some of the thoughts I had.)
I liked the plot and that's just about it. The mystery was good I guess. With the characters trying to figure out who the murderer is and stuff.
What bummed me out was there was very little mention of the Diviners and the powers. It was there but not enough of it. Mostly Evie was mentioned with her powers but eventhen the barely any of it. Also, the multiple povs wasn't necessary. It wasn't confusing but it was annoying. Too much information with these characters that had nothing to do with the story. And when it did it was backseated to something else.
The romance was also bland and didn't show up until the very last page? There was basically no build up for it and it kind of just happened which was weird.
I liked it enough to buy the second one but I don't know when I'll start it
I honestly do not know how i feel about this book. I liked the magic and what not (once i got to know it) but i just have questions and the romance to me felt a bit incomplete because we got baz's side and only some of simon and also were the parts that were in fangirl in here or did i miss them
i liked this thought...i think. i didnt hate it nor dislike it that much i know
